A warm and humid air mass is interacting with an upper level weather disturbance to make for scattered storms that could become strong to severe tonight. Another round of potentially strong storms is on the way for Friday with more stable and cooler conditions taking us through the weekend into next week.

Tonight, skies will be mostly cloudy with scattered storms that could become severe. The overnight low temperature will be 70 degrees. Friday will be mostly cloudy with afternoon and evening storms that could become severe at times as a cold front moves through. The high temperature will be 82 degrees.

The weekend will start out with mostly cloudy skies after morning rain showers on Saturday under high pressure behind the departing cold front. The high temperature will be 79 degrees. Sunday will be mostly cloudy with afternoon storms as another cold front moves into the region. The high temperature will be 82 degrees.

Monday will be mostly cloudy and dry under high pressure. The high temperature will drop to 72 degrees in the cooler air behind the departing front. Tuesday will be mostly sunny and dry under high pressure. The high temperature will be 73 degrees. Wednesday will be mostly cloudy with scattered storms as a wave of low pressure moves through the region. The high temperature will warm a bit to 75 degrees. Thursday will be mostly sunny and dry under high pressure behind the departing cold front. The high temperature will make it to 77 degrees. Friday will be mostly cloudy with afternoon storms as a warm front moves through the region. The high temperature will warm to 80 degrees behind the front.

The next weekend will start out with mostly cloudy skies along with scattered showers and storms as the trailing cold front moves into the region on Saturday. The high temperature will drop back to 75 degrees in the cooler air moving in behind the front. Sunday will be mostly cloudy with lingering showers and storms as the front moves through. The high temperature will drop a bit to 73 degrees.
