High pressure brought back sunshine to the region on Thursday. Dry conditions will take us through Friday before another storm system brings mostly rain on St. Paddy's Day Saturday. The calendar start to spring is coming up Tuesday but we could see a return to wintry conditions after that.

Tonight, skies will be partly cloudy and dry under high pressure following a cold front moving through the region. The low temperature will be a chilly 29 degrees. Friday will be partly cloudy and dry. The high temperature will be 49 degrees with cooler air moving in over the region behind Thursday's cold front.

The weekend will start out with cloudy skies along with rain showers on St. Paddy's Day Saturday. The high temperature will be 50 degrees with most areas looking to pick up a quarter to half inch of rainfall. Sunday will be mostly sunny and dry as high pressure returns to the region. The high temperature will warm to 60 degrees.

Monday will be mostly cloudy and dry under high pressure. The high temperature will warm a bit to 62 degrees. Tuesday will be cloudy with showers and thunderstorms as a cold front moves into the region. The high temperature will drop a bit to 54 degrees with the additional clouds and showers. Wednesday will be cloudy with snow showers as cold low pressure moves in behind the departing cold front. The high temperature will drop to 40 degrees. Thursday will be cloudy with snow showers as low pressure remains in place over the region. The high temperature will drop again to 38 degrees. Friday will be partly cloudy and dry under high pressure. The high temperature will warm a bit to 48 degrees.

The next weekend will start out with partly cloudy skies and dry conditions under high pressure on Saturday. The high temperature will warm to 56 degrees. Sunday will be partly cloudy and dry under high pressure. The high temperature will warm again to 60 degrees.
