An approaching cold front will spread clouds in across the region tonight. Rain showers will move in by Thursday afternoon which will change over to snowflakes Thursday night. Snow will last into Friday morning. Another storm will bring rain and snow showers by Sunday.
Tonight, skies will be mostly cloudy and dry with a low temperature of 34 degrees. Thursday will be cloudy with a cold front bringing in rain showers that will move in during the afternoon. Rainfall totals will be in the quarter to half inch range before the rain showers change over to snow in the cold air behind the front. The high temperature will make it to 48 degrees before falling to a low of 17 degrees at night behind the front. Friday will start out with snow showers that will bring around an inch of snow to lowlands with several inches possible in the mountains. The high temperature will be a chilly 28 degrees.
The weekend will start out with mostly cloudy skies along with dry conditions as high pressure briefly moves in on Saturday. The high temperature will make it back to a seasonable 40 degrees. Sunday will see another cold front move in which will bring cloudy skies along with a mix of rain and snow showers. The high temperature will drop a bit back to 36 degrees.
Monday will start out with snow showers that will taper off to cloudy skies by the afternoon. The high temperature will be 35 degrees. Tuesday will be cloudy with a combination of rain and snow showers with another weather system moving in. The high temperature will make it to 38 degrees in the warmer air ahead of the low pressure system. Wednesday will be mostly cloudy with lingering snow showers and a high temperature of 38 degrees. Thursday will be partly cloudy and dry as high pressure returns to the region. The high temperature will warm back to 42 degrees. Friday will be partly cloudy and dry under high pressure. The high temperature will warm a bit to 48 degrees. The next weekend will start out with cloudy skies along with rain showers as another cold front moves in. The high temperature will drop back to 44 degrees.
