A low pressure system will bring snow showers across the region through this evening after which they will taper off to cloudy skies. High pressure will mean a return to dry and warmer conditions into the first part of the weekend before cooling down again.
Tonight, skies will be cloudy with snow showers tapering off after around 9:00. Most the snow is not sticking to the roads because of recent warmer temperatures, but could make for icy spots overnight as temperatures fall below freezing. The overnight low temperature will be 26 degrees. Thursday will be partly cloudy and dry under high pressure with the mercury making it back to a seasonable 42 degrees. Friday will see a warm front move through the region for mostly sunny skies along with dry conditions. The high temperature will warm all the way to 63 degrees.
The weekend will start out with partly cloudy skies along with dry conditions on Saturday ahead of the trailing cold front. The high temperature will warm up to 65 degrees. Sunday will be cloudy with rain showers as the cold front moves into the region. The high temperature will drop back to 53 degrees with the additional clouds and showers.
Monday will be cloudy with the rain showers changing over to snowflakes. The high temperature will drop back to 36 degrees. Tuesday will be cloudy after some lingering morning snow showers along with a high temperature of 38 degrees. Wednesday will be mostly sunny and dry as high pressure returns to the region. The high temperature will make it back up o 56 degrees. Thursday will be partly cloudy and dry with the mercury soaring all the way to 63 degrees. A cold front will move in Friday which will bring back cloudy skies with rain showers that could eventually change over to snowflakes behind the front. The next weekend will start out with cloudy skies and snow showers as cold air remains in place behind the front. The high temperature will drop back to a chilly 32 degrees.
