Kallie Cart is an award-winning anchor and reporter at WCHS. You can see her every weeknight anchoring Eyewitness News at 5 and 6 and on Fox 11 at 10 p.m.
She joined Eyewitness News in 2011 covering several high-profile stories but likely is best known for her coverage of the West Virginia water crisis, where she demanded answers from the company responsible telling the Freedom Industries president, "We're not done here."
Kallie is a 2006 graduate of the SI Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, where she also had the opportunity to study abroad in Madrid, Spain, during her junior year.
After graduation, she got her start at WZBN in Trenton, N.J., and worked her way back to her home state of West Virginia.
Kallie was raised in Putnam County. She now lives in Charleston with her husband Todd, who is a local restaurant owner, and their two young children.
She is active throughout the community, involved in several organizations and hosting events for various charities.
When she is not working, she is usually with her kids; they love the Clay Center, the public library, going to events in the area and exploring the fun things there are to do in West Virginia.
If you see Kallie out, feel free to say hi . If you have any story ideas, you can reach her through email at firstname.lastname@example.org Facebook and Twitter.
