WVU Comeback Falls Short at TCU

The Mountaineers used a pair of long third quarter touchdowns to tie it up against TCU but the Horned Frogs held off the Mountaineers 31-24 Saturday afternoon. Will Grier found David Sills V for a 64 yard scoring strike and then hit Ka'Raun White on a 76 yard touchdown late in the third quarter to tie it at 17. Kenny Hill's 3 yard touchdown run with under three minutes to play wound up being the difference. West Virginia falls short in it's quest at beating a top ten team on the road for the first time in 35 years.
