Win Streak Snapped

The Mountaineers saw their 15 game winning streak come to an end Saturday afternoon in Lubbock, Texas. Texas Tech handed West Virginia a 72-71 loss- WVU's first loss since opening the season with a loss to Texas A&M. The Mountaineers led by 11 with 13 minutes to go but the Red Raiders stormed back to earn their first victory in a top ten matchup. Jevon Carter scored 28 points for WVU in a losing effort. Bob Huggins will have a quick turnaround as his team will play host to number 12 Kansas Monday night.
