Attention Grabber! WVU Knocks Off Oklahoma For 14th Straight Win

Bob Huggins has himself a contender. #6 West Virginia beat #7 Oklahoma 89-76 in Morgantown Saturday night for a 14th straight victory. It's the Mountaineers longest winning streak since winning 22 in a row during the 1988-89 season. Oklahoma's Trae Young showed flashes of his brilliance finishing with 29 points and 5 assists but Jevon Carter and his WVU teammates forced the freshman into 8 turnovers. Carter finished with 17 points, 10 assists and 3 steals as the Mountaineers improve to 8-0 at home. The Mountaineers will remain home to host Baylor on Tuesday.
