WVU Basketball: Big 12 streaks ends at one for WVU
After topping highly-regarded Kansas on Saturday at the WVU Coliseum, the hope was the Mountaineers would be able to start building momentum in Big 12 Conference play after a 0-5 start.
Unfortunately, in just a little over 48 hours that didn't happen.
Baylor came to Morgantown Monday night and left with an 85-73 win over Bob Huggins' crew.
Beetle Bolden led the way for West Virginia with 22.
Brandon Knapper added 15.
Makail Mason had a game-high 29 for the winning Bears, who picked up their 12th win of the season and 4-2 in the league.
The Mountaineers, 9-10 overall, will step outside of Big 12 play for a meeting with top-ranked Tennessee on Saturday.
