Multiple reports said Oklahoma University will allow quarterback Austin Kendall to transfer to West Virginia University.

Kendall will be immediately eligible, according to ESPN, Sports Illustrated and Bleacher Report. He is expected to enroll at WVU sometime this week after the move was initially blocked by Oklahoma.

As a Sooner, Kendall saw action in eight games and completed 28 of 39 passes for 265 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions.

Coming out of high school, Kendall was rated a four-star recruit by ESPN, Rivals and Scout. He was ranked the No. 77 recruit in the nation and the No. 4 pro-style quarterback.

Before signing with the Sooners, he had scholarship offers from Auburn, Clemson, Tennessee, West Virginia and several others.

The Mountaineers will be looking to replace quarterback Will Grier, who was selected as the 2018 Senior CLASS Award winner for the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision.
