WVSU's Winning Streak Over at 4

Fairmont State used a big third quarter to beat West Virginia State 34-27 in Fairmont Saturday stopping the Yellowjackets winning streak at four games. WVSU had a 24-7 halftime lead but the Falcons outscored the Jackets 24-0 in the third quarter to take a 31-24 lead into the fourth quarter. WVSU had the ball at it's own 22 yard line with just over a minute to play but Matt Kinnick's fourth pass to AJ Barrette fell incomplete. West Virginia State falls to 5-4 and will play host to Urbana Saturday at noon.
