WVSU Blows Lead On Senior Day

West Virginia State blew a big second half lead against Urbana and lost 36-35 on Senior Day. WVSU led 28-6 through three quarters before Urbana scored 30 fourth quarter points- including a two point conversion with just over a minute to play that proved to be the difference. Matt Kinnick threw five touchdown passes in the losing effort as WVSU piled up 444 yards of total offense. State falls to 5-5, 4-5 with one game remaining. Next weekend the Yellowjackets will finish up their 2017 season with a trip to West Virginia Wesleyan.
