UC's Win Streak Snapped
The University of Charleston had it's two game win streak snapped with a 17-12 loss to Notre Dame Saturday afternoon. The Golden Eagles were forced to play the majority of the game with third string quarterback Colar Kuhns after both Mason Olszewski and Brant Grisel were knocked out of the game in the first quarter. Kuhns completed 9-19 passes and was sacked five times in the defensive battle. UC's defense was solid once again holding Notre Dame to 272 yards of total offense. UC's all-time sack leader Khazin Daniels ten total tackles including three more sacks. UC has two games left to their 2017 season beginning with a trip to Shepherd next weekend.
