GW, Winfield Sweep State Tennis Tournament; Mercer 3-Peats

History was made at the West Virginia State Tennis Tournament Saturday. For the first time ever the Kanawha Valley pulled off the clean sweep. The George Washington boys and girls both won Class AAA team championships while the Winfield boys and girls accomplished the same feat in AA-A. Meanwhile, Huntington's J.J. Mercer put on a show with a 6-1, 6-3 win in #1 Boys AAA Singles over GW's Anthony McIntosh. Josh Lewis has all the hi-lites from Championship Saturday.
