Wreath-laying ceremony held in Charleston to honor President Bush
CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WCHS/WVAH) —
Members of the Charleston Convention and Visitors Bureau and a group of veterans on Wednesday honored the late George H.W. Bush.
A wreath-laying ceremony was held at the veterans memorial at Spring Hill Cemetery.
The public was invited to Wednesday's event.
Wednesday was designated as a National Day of Mourning following the death of the nation’s 41st president. A funeral service was conducted at Washington National Cathedral. On Thursday, a funeral service is scheduled in Houston.
