West Virginia State Police searching for missing woman

West Virginia State Police are searching for a woman they said has not been seen since late July.

Julia Young was reported missing Thursday, Aug. 9, according to a news release from State Police. Young was last seen on or about July 30 at the Exxon on Dingus Street in Logan.

Young is described as 5 foot 7 inches tall and weighs 123 pounds. Young has brown hair and brown eyes with three stars tattooed on her right temple. She also has several large tattoos on her back.

State Police said Young has a 15-year-old son with whom she keeps in close contact.

Young is 40 or 41 years old.

Anyone with information on her location is asked to call the Williamson detachment at 304-235-6000.
