West Hamlin Police Department officials said they arrested a woman after finding drug paraphernalia and methamphetamine residue a few feet away from where a 7-month-old baby sleeps.

Hailey Eplin, 23, is facing child neglect and drug possession charges, Sgt. J.J. Napier said.

Police served a search warrant Thursday morning at Emerald Garden Apartments in West Hamlin. The baby was not at the home at the time of the search, Napier said.

Police say Eplin’s boyfriend was arrested on drug charged at the same apartment in January.

Eplin’s bail has been set at $25,000.
