HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WCHS/WVAH) - First lady Melania Trump visited Lily's Place in Huntington Tuesday.

The first lady visited the infant recovery center that helps families deal with addiction.

Security presence was heavy before the motorcade rolled into the area where the facility is located. Access inside the building was limited to a CNN camera crew.

The executive director of Lily’s Place, Rebecca Crowder, was in Washington Sept. 28, after she was invited by the first lady along with others from across the country to sit down with her for a discussion on how the drug epidemic touches their region. Individuals represented the programs available in their towns to help the fight against drugs.
