Troopers say man killed, two teens injured in two-car crash in Elliott County, Ky.

Kentucky State Police said a man was killed and two teens injured in a two-car crash in Elliott County.

James Barker, 38, of Sandy Hook died Monday, according to a news release from State Police.

Troopers said Barker was traveling south Monday evening on KY 7 in Sandy Hook. Troopers said Barker crossed the center line and his vehicle struck an oncoming pickup truck. Barker was pronounced dead at the scene by the Elliott County Coroner's Office.

Troopers said the driver of the pickup, Gage Evans, 18, and his passenger, Clark Howard, 18, both of whom are from Sandy Hook, were taken to the hospital. They suffered minor injuries.

The Elliott County Fire and Rescue, Elliott County EMS and Elliott County coroner assisted at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
