Silver Alert canceled for man missing out of Mingo County

West Virginia State Police in Mingo County have canceled a Silver Alert for an 82-year-old man who may have dementia.

State Police spokesman Maj. Reggie Patterson said Harold Lee Noe has been located and the Silver Alert is canceled.

Patterson said a Good Samaritan found Noe's vehicle stuck in a ditch in Browning Fork in Mingo County. Noe was cold and was taken to the hospital for evaluation.

The alert was issued Wednesday morning after Noe was last seen around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Justice area, right outside of Gilbert, according to State Police.

Further details were not immediately available.
