Second person dies following crash on West Virginia Turnpike
PRINCETON, W.Va. (WCHS/WVAH) —
A second West Virginia Parkways Authority employee has died after being struck by a tractor-trailer Thursday afternoon on I-77.
Richard Lambert, 21, died Friday at Roanoke Memorial Hospital as a result of injuries he suffered in the accident, according to West Virginia State Police.
Nathan Thompson, 32, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A third worker, Ethan Kester, is still in critical condition.
State police on continuing to investigate the crash.
