Charleston police say second Charleston murder suspect arrested in Detroit

A man wanted for murder in Charleston has been arrested in Detroit.

Jayrionte Thomas, 18, was captured Wednesday in Detroit by U.S. Marshals, according to Tony Hazelett, chief of detectives with the Charleston Police Department.

Thomas was wanted in the death of Terrell Davenport, 27, of South Charleston, who died Dec. 15 from multiple gunshot wounds he received at the West Side Market and Deli on Seventh Avenue.

Marcus Young, 19, was arrested by U.S. Marshals on Dec. 22 in Detroit. He was wanted in the same fatal shooting.
