PRINCETON, W.Va. (WCHS/WVAH) — A suspect who was arrested following a multi-county pursuit died while in West Virginia State Police custody, WVVA reported.
Michael A. Graham II, 42, of Princeton died after he was arrested Friday and lost consciousness, the TV station said. Troopers administered Narcan and performed CPR, but they were unable to revive him.
State Police were involved in a multi-county vehicle pursuit that began on U.S. 460 and ended near Odd, W.Va. Graham and three passengers from his vehicle were arrested after a brief foot chase.
WVVA said troopers were unable to revive Graham after he collapsed while he was in custody.
Graham’s body was sent to the state Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for an autopsy.
