Putnam deputies say home confinement suspect taken into custody
WINFIELD, W.Va (WCHS/WVAH) —
Putnam County deputies said a woman who cut off her home confinement bracelet last week has been taken into custody.
Kelsi Shamblin was taken into custody in the Campbells Creek area of Kanawha County without incident Wednesday afternoon, Putnam County Sheriff Steve Deweese said.
On Friday, deputies said Shamblin cut off her home confinement bracelet and ran away from Recovery Point in Charleston.
Shamblin was on bond for one count of daytime burglary after she was accused of breaking into a Putnam County home in June and stealing several items.
