One person inured after car hits train
SOUTH CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WCHS/WVAH) —
Jefferson Road was closed for an extended amount of time in South Charleston after a car crashes into a train in South Charleston early Friday morning.
South Charleston police said that one person was injured and taken to the hospital. Police did not release the extent of the person's injuries.
Police said the driver of the vehicle was trying to drive under the stop arm when they were struck by the train.
The crash happened just after 6:30 a.m.
