The Cabell County Sheriff's Office says a homicide investigation is now underway after the victim of a car crash actually died from gunshot wounds.
David Wesley Martin, 62, of Milton, died after a crash on U.S. 60 near the Milton Funeral Home, according to a news release from the sheriff's office.
Martin's body has been sent to the Medical Examiner's Office.

One person has died after a single-vehicle crash Wednesday morning in Milton.
Cabell 911 said the crash happened about 2 a.m. in front of Wallace Funeral Home.
Milton Police Department, Milton Fire Department and the Cabell County Sheriff's Office responded.
