Man wanted by U.S. Marshals arrested on Charleston's East End
CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WCHS/WVAH) —
A man wanted by the U.S. Marshals Service is in custody after police officers arrested him on Charleston's East End.
Charleston police officers arrested Joshua Matthews, 36, in the 1600 block of Washington Street East Wednesday evening.
Matthews was wanted for a parole violation. He was on parole for a drug charge.
Officers detained Matthews for trespassing in the area. They also received information that a man matching his description and two other men were planning on robbing a woman near the 7-Eleven.
Matthews will be taken to the South Central Regional Jail and will then be placed in federal custody.
