Man arrested after being allowed into Meadows Elementary in Huntington
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WCHS/WVAH) —
West Virginia State Police arrested a man Wednesday after school officials said he had no business being inside a school.
Cabell County Schools Director of Communications Jedd Flowers confirmed that employees at Meadows Elementary allowed a man to come inside the building Wednesday afternoon, but they soon realized he shouldn't be there and kicked him out.
The school went on lock down after the incident and troopers arrested the man shortly thereafter.
At this time, the man's name has not been released.
