Huntington police release name of shooting victim
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WCHS/WVAH) —
Huntington Police have released the name of a woman who was shot Sunday evening.
Lois Burnside, 51, of Huntington is in critical but stable condition at a local hospital, according to a news release from police.
Police said the shooting happened about 9:30 p.m. Sunday in the 1800 block of Doulton Avenue. Burnside suffered gunshot wounds and was taken to a local hospital where she underwent surgery.
Police have not released any information on a possible suspect. Anyone with information is asked to call detectives at 304-696-5560.
