Huntington police release additional details in train fatality
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WCHS/WVAH) —
Huntington police have released additional details in a train fatality that happened Sunday.
Interim Police Chief Hank Dial said the body of a white male was found on the railroad tracks at Eighth Avenue and Seventh Street Sunday morning. Dial said the victim had been struck by the train.
Dial said they have identified the man but are trying to contact next of kin before releasing his name.
No other details were released.
