Harlem Globetrotters offering shows in Huntington, Charleston

The theatrical, comedic and move-mastering Harlem Globetrotters will be making stops in West Virginia this week.

At 7 p.m. Saturday, the Globetrotters will perform at Big Sandy Superstore Arena in Huntington. The team will play at 2 p.m. Sunday at Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center. At 7 p.m. Monday, the team will stop by Parkersburg High School Memorial Fieldhouse for a show. Eyewitness Sports Anchor Josh Lewis will be a special guest player during the Charleston game.

The family-friendly event showcases a basketball game with many tricks and sneaky moves by the trained athletes and actors. In their red, white, and blue jerseys, the players challenge the opposing team, the Generals, while interacting with the audience.

Tickets range from $25.50 to $96.50 in Huntington and range from $15 to $100 in Charleston.
