Gov. Justice announces state park discount as part of hurricane response
CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WCHS/WVAH) —
West Virginia Gov. Jim Justice announced Tuesday that all state parks will offer a 55 percent discount on rooms, cabins and campsites through Sept. 18.
Justice said the discount is a part of the State of Preparedness for Hurricane Florence, which has not yet made landfall on the east coastline.
“We want to make sure that those needing to evacuate will have an affordable place to stay,” Justice said in a news release.
