Fire crews battled flames early Tuesday morning at a warehouse in Huntington.

Cabell County dispatchers said a fire broke out about 2:30 a.m. at the old A & A Transmission warehouse on the corner of 3rd Street and 4th Avenue.

Firefighters said the building has been vacant for years, but it was packed from floor to ceiling with heavy equipment, combustibles and recycled oil.

The Huntington fire and police departments and Cabell County EMS responded to the scene.
