Northbound lanes reopen after crash on I-79 in Elkview
ELKVIEW, W.Va. (WCHS/WVAH) —
Metro 911 says the northbound lanes have reopened after a crash Friday morning on Interstate 79 in Elkview.
A crash involving at least two vehicles blocked a portion of the interstate, causing the northbound lanes to temporarily shut down for hours.
The crash occurred near the 12 mile marker between the Elkview and Clendenin exits.
Metro 911 said at least one person was entrapped. It is unknown if there are any injuries.
