Columbus man wanted after shooting in Greenup County, Ky.
GREENUP COUNTY, Ky. (WCHS/WVAH) —
Kentucky State Police are searching for a man accused of shooting his girlfriend Sunday morning in Greenup County, Ky.
Michael Moore, 44, of Columbus, Ohio, is accused of shooting his girlfriend during a domestic dispute just after 2 a.m. Sunday in residence on Cardinal Point, according to a news release from Kentucky State Police.
Troopers said Moore shot his girlfriend with a 12-guage shotgun. She was struck in the right side of her lower back. She was taken to Cabell Huntington Hospital where she was treated and has since been released.
According to the release, Moore left the residence with the shotgun and is possible headed towards the Columbus area. He was last seen driving a 2007 Dodge Durango with Ohio license plates HLJ4152.
Troopers said Moore should be considered armed and dangerous.
