Charleston police say man charged in destruction of property incident
CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WCHS/WVAH) —
Charleston police said they have identified a suspect who destroyed property at West Virginia Eye Consultants.
Arthur Allen Cavender, 37, is charged with misdemeanor destruction of property He also is wanted out of Florida for a probation violation for a larceny charge.
Cavender is currently being held at South Central Regional Jail on an unrelated city charge.
Police said in a news release the suspect recently damaged a company vehicle and left trash on the West Virginia Eye Consultants’ property. The male suspect was captured on surveillance cameras damaging the vehicle.
West Virginia Eye Consultants is located at 501 Summers St. in Charleston.
