Charleston police are looking for two men in connection to an early morning stabbing on the West Side.

Police said the two men stabbed two other men just before 3:30 a.m. Sunday in the 700 block Central Ave behind Park Place Bar.

Charleston Police Lt. Autumn Davis said one victim had stabbed in the hand and one was stabbed in the foot. Both victims are from Charleston.

Police said one man was walking on Park Avenue when he was confronted by two men with pantyhose on their faces.

Police believe the suspects were attempting to rob the man.

No arrests have been made at this time.

The victim punched the suspect who was holding the knife in attempt to disarm him and a bystander jumped in to help, and that is when police said the two victims were injured.

The two suspects took off running north on Park Avenue.

The two victims were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
