Live on Levee Friday helps kick off Multifest celebration

Diversity will be celebrated in the community and provide a variety of entertainment Friday at Moses Auto Group Live on the Levee as part of the Multifest celebration.

Stratus kicks off the evening at 6:30 p.m. on the Schoenbaum stage at Haddad Riverfront Park in Charleston. The local favorite group plays a wide range of music from rhythm and blues to classic Motown to hip hop and jazz.

At about 7:30 p.m., it will really be time to put on the dancing shoes when headliner Zapp, a band that has been together since the 1970s, begins its set of funky, high energy music.

WCHS-TV is an exclusive partner of Live on the Levee that features free summer concerts every Friday from May through Labor Day.
