Open to All campaign celebrates 100th member in Huntington
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WCHS/WVAH) —
A campaign in Huntington celebrated a milestone after its 100th member was inducted.
The Open to All campaign launched in 2016 in an effort to promote diversity and inclusion in the workplace and community. On Wednesday, Dr. Skip Hart, owner of “Ask Dr. Skip” took the pledge and became the 100th business or organization to join the initiative.
The goal is to create an open and safe environment for everyone, regardless of race, religion, gender or sexual orientation.
“From that kind of small beginning to revamp it into something that is just really gone across Huntington, our biggest institutions like Marshall, Cabell-Huntington, and some of our oldest institutions like Jim’s are on board with this campaign now and now we have our 100th member with one of our newest businesses,” Justin Murdock said.
Open to All also offers free diversity training to members.
