Huntington police arrest four following ongoing robbery investigation
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WCHS/WVAH) —
Huntington police arrested four people as part of an ongoing robbery investigation.
Elijah Murphy, 20, Kani Burnside, 19, Eugene Ware, 18, all of Huntington were charged with possession with intent to deliver, and Aunthony Harris Jr., 21, of Huntington was charged with possession with intent to deliver and a felon being in possession of a firearm, according to a news release from police.
Police said they were arrested Thursday morning in the Guyandotte area of Huntington as part of an ongoing robbery investigation. Members of the Huntington Police Department's Violent Crime Unit, Special Investigations Bureau and SWAT Team searched a home on Division Street and found marijuana, scales, more than $1,000 in cash and two AK-47 style firearms.
More arrests are expected.
