Starting time announced for Sept. 26 WVU-Oklahoma State game; matchup to be on TV

The Big 12 announced the starting time for West Virginia University’s Sept. 26 football conference opener at Oklahoma State and said the game will be televised.

WVU will play Oklahoma State at Boone Pickens Stadium and kickoff is at 3:30 p.m. Eastern Time Zone, according to a news release from WVU.

ABC or ESPN will broadcast the game.

School officials said the Oklahoma State game on Sept. 26 will be Mountaineer Nation Day – a 24-hour period to celebrate all things Gold and Blue around the world. Fans are encouraged to participate at mountaineernationday.wvu.edu.

WVU opened its season over the weekend with a 56-10 victory over Eastern Kentucky University. Oklahoma State is scheduled to open its football season Saturday, Sept. 19 when it faces Tulsa.
