Time for Marshall-Appalachian State game moved; CBS will televise
Marshall University school officials say the game time for Saturday's contest between the Thundering Herd and Appalachian State has been moved to 3:30 p.m. and will be televised by CBS. (Marshall University){p}{/p}

The game time for Saturday’s Marshall University and Appalachian State football game has been moved, and there is a change in television coverage.

School officials said in a news release the network announced the game will now be played at 3:30 p.m. and will be carried by CBS.

It was originally scheduled to air on CBS Sports Network at 1:30 p.m.

Marshall won its first game of the season 59-0 over Eastern Kentucky on Sept. 5. Meanwhile, 23rd-ranked Appalachian knocked off Charlotte 35-20 in Boone, N.C., on Saturday.
