The Kanawha County Health Department said two more people in the county have died from COVID-19 complications.

According to a news release Monday afternoon, health officials said 56 people have died from the virus.
Health officials also said there are 2,081 total COVID-19 cases, up 50 from Sunday. Of those cases, 2,066 are confirmed and 15 are probable cases.

Health officials said there are 745 active cases, up 45 from Sunday. The number of people who have recovered remains at 1,280.
