Snow Showers Tonight...Bitterly Cold Thursday...A Bit Warmer Friday

An arctic front made for cloudy skies on Wednesday with a snow burst expected to move in this evening. Bitterly cold air will move in behind the front which will make for extremely cold conditions on Thursday. Friday will be partly cloudy and a bit warmer with rain moving in for the weekend.

Tonight, an arctic front will move through around 10pm which will make for snow showers and much colder temperatures. The overnight low will drop to 12 degrees with breezy conditions. Thursday will be partly cloudy and bitterly cold behind the front. The high temperature will be 20 degrees with gusty winds putting the wind chill down around zero. Friday will be partly cloudy and dry with high pressure moving in over the region. The high temperature will warm a bit to 32 degrees.

The weekend will start out with freezing rain or snow that will quickly change over to rain as a warm front moves in Saturday. The high temperature will be 60 degrees. Sunday will be cloudy with rain showers that will change over to snowflakes late as the cold front moves through. The high temperature will drop to 42 degrees.

Monday will be partly cloudy and dry under high pressure. The high temperature will drop to 36 degrees. Tuesday will be partly cloudy and dry with high pressure still in place. The high temperature will make it to 42 degrees. Wednesday will be partly cloudy and dry ahead of the next approaching cold front. The high temperature will make it to 53 degrees. Thursday will be cloudy with rain showers that will change over to snowflakes as the cold front moves through. The high temperature will drop a bit to 50 degrees. Friday will be partly cloudy and dry with high pressure moving in behind the departing cold front. The high temperature will drop to 44 degrees. Christmas Eve Day will be partly cloudy and dry as high pressure moves in over the region. The high temperature will make it to a mild 53 degrees.

Thursday: Partly cloudy and cold. High 20 degrees with wind chill values around zero.

Friday: Partly cloudy and dry. High 32 degrees.
