High pressure will bring clear skies to the region tonight which will make for some dense fog forming in river valleys late. Bright sunshine will take us through the weekend along with hot temperatures in the 90 degree range before rain returns by the middle of next week.

Tonight, skies will be mostly clear with fog forming late mainly in river valleys. The overnight low temperature will be 64 degrees. Friday will start out with some dense morning fog that will burn off quickly to mostly sunny skies. The high temperature will make it all the way to 89 degrees.

The weekend will start out with mostly sunny skies along with dry conditions under strengthening high pressure. The high temperature will make it to a hot 90 degrees. Sunday will be mostly sunny and dry under persistent high pressure. The high temperature will again come in at a hot 90 degrees.

Monday will be mostly sunny and hot as high pressure continues in place over the region. The high temperature will make it to an even hotter 91 degrees. Tuesday will be mostly sunny and dry with high pressure weakening just slightly. That will be enough to drop the high temperature a bit to a still very warm 88 degrees. Wednesday will be partly cloudy and dry ahead of an approaching cold front. The high temperature will drop again to a still well above normal 83 degrees. Thursday will be mostly cloudy and dry as the cold front moves in close to the region. The high temperature will fall back to a more seasonable 76 degrees. Friday will be mostly cloudy with a slight chance of showers ahead of the front along with a still cooler high temperature of 72 degrees.

The next weekend will start out with mostly cloudy skies along with scattered showers as low pressure remains over the region. The high temperature will cool all the way down to 68 degres. Sunday will be mostly cloudy with a chance of showers as low pressure will still be the region's dominant weather feature. The high temperature will slip again to 66 degrees.

Friday: Mostly sunny after dense early morning fog. High 89 degrees.

Saturday: Mostly sunny and dry. High a hot 90 degrees.

Sunday: Mostly sunny and dry. High a hot 90 degrees.

Monday: Mostly sunny and dry. High a hot 91 degrees.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny and dry. High 88 degrees.

Wednesday: Partly cloudy and dry. High 83 degrees.

Thursday: Mostly cloudy and dry. High 76 degrees.

Friday: Mostly cloudy with a slight chance of showers. High 72 degrees.

Saturday: Mostly cloudy with scattered showers. High 68 degrees.

Sunday: Mostly cloudy with showers. High 66 degrees.
