An approaching cold front will bring showers and storms to the region on Tuesday. There will be scattered showers along with cooler temperatures following the front which will take us through the rest of the week. The region could see some rain showers by next week from Hurricane Irma.

Tonight, skies will become cloudy with rain showers moving in late. The overnight low temperature will be a warm 67 degrees. Tuesday will be cloudy with showers and storms as the cold front makes its way into the region. The high temperature will drop a bit to 76 degrees and it will be breezy at times. Rainfall totals should be in the quarter to half inch range for most areas. A low pressure trough will remain in place over the region behind the front on Wednesday for mostly cloudy skies along with a chance of scattered rain showers. The high temperature will drop to 70 degrees. Thursday will be mostly cloudy with scattered showers as low pressure remains over the region. The high temperature will be a cooler 67 degrees. Friday will be mostly cloudy with scattered rain showers as low pressure starts to move out of the region. The high temperature will still be a cool 68 degrees.

The weekend will start out with partly cloudy skies along with dry conditions as high pressure returns to the region on Saturday. The high temperature will warm back to 74 degrees. Sunday will be partly cloudy and dry with high pressure still in control over the region. The high temperature will warm slightly to 76 degrees.

Monday will be mostly sunny and dry in the subsidence ahead of Hurricane Irma which will be approaching the southeastern coastline. The high temperature will warm to 78 degrees. Tuesday will be mostly cloudy with rain showers and possibly thunderstorms as the leading edge of Irma start working its way into the region. The high temperature will drop to 74 degrees with the additional cloud cover and showers. Wednesday will be cloudy with showers and storms as Irma moves in over the region. The high temperature will drop to a cool 64 degrees. Thursday will be mostly cloudy and dry as Irma moves out of the region. The high temperature will still be a cool 67 degrees.

Wednesday: Mostly cloudy with scattered showers. High 70 degrees.

Thursday: Mostly cloudy with scattered showers. High 67 degrees.

Friday: Mostly cloudy with scattered showers. High 68 degrees.

Saturday: Partly cloudy and dry. High 74 degrees.

Sunday: Partly cloudy and dry. High 76 degrees.

Monday: Mostly sunny and dry. High 78 degrees.
