Rain showers and thunderstorms associated with the remnants of former Hurricane Harvey will bring the potential for heavy rainfall tonight. Rain showers will last through Saturday with morning showers into Sunday. Labor Day Monday looks to be dry and pleasant.

Tonight, skies will be cloudy with showers and thunderstorms from the remnants of Hurricane Harvey. Rainfall amounts could be heavy with the overnight low temperature staying at 60 degrees. The weekend will start out with cloudy skies along with rain showers that will last through the day. The high temperature will be a chilly 65 degrees. Sunday will start out with some morning rain showers that will give way to partly cloudy skies along with dry conditions as high pressure makes its way back into the region. The high temperature will warm to 76 degrees. Labor Day Monday will be partly cloudy and dry under high pressure. The high temperature will make it back to a seasonable 83 degrees.

Tuesday will be mostly cloudy with showers and storms as a cold front moves into the region. The high temperature will make it to 86 degrees in the warmer air ahead of the front. Wednesday will be mostly cloudy with rain showers as the front stalls over the region. The high temperature will drop to 72 degrees with the clouds, showers and cooler air moving in behind the front. Thursday will be mostly cloudy and dry as low pressure remains in place over the region. The high temperature will drop to a cool 68 degrees. Friday will be mostly cloudy and dry as low pressure again will be the region's dominant weather feature. The high temperature will warm slightly to 70 degrees.

The next weekend will start out with partly cloudy skies along with dry conditions as high pressure moves back in over the region on Saturday. The high temperature will warm to 73 degrees. Sunday will be partly cloudy and dry under high pressure. The high temperature will be 76 degrees. Monday will be partly cloudy and dry under high pressure along with a high temperature of 80 degrees.
