An approaching cold front brought mostly cloudy skies along with scattered showers and storms to the region on Friday. Skies will be mostly cloudy on Saturday with scattered showers and storms through the early afternoon before skies start clearing out which will lead to partly cloudy and dry conditions on Sunday.

Tonight, skies will be mostly cloudy with scattered showers and storms starting in the Charleston area around 8:00 pm. Light amounts of rainfall are expected but one or two storms could become strong to severe. The overnight low temperature will be 68 degrees. The weekend will start out with mostly cloudy skies along with showers and storms that will last through the morning into the early afternoon hours before the cold front moves through the region bringing a clearing trend behind it. The high temperature will make it to 81 degrees. Sunday will be partly cloudy and dry as high pressure moves into the region. The high temperature will warm slightly to 82 degrees.

Monday will see a low pressure system move into the region for mostly cloudy skies along with showers and storms. The high temperature will make it to 84 degrees in the warmer air ahead of the storm system. Tuesday will be mostly cloudy with some lingering showers across the region behind the low. The high temperature will drop to 82 degrees. Wednesday will be mostly sunny and dry as high pressure moves in over the region. The high temperature will make it up to 85 degrees. Thursday will be mostly cloudy and dry ahead of the next approaching storm system. The high temperature will make it up to 86 degrees. Friday will be mostly cloudy with showers and storms as the front moves in. The high temperature will be 84 degrees.

The next weekend will start out with partly cloudy skies along with dry conditions under high pressure. The high temperature will warm back to 86 degrees. Sunday will be mostly cloudy and dry ahead of the next approaching front. The high temperature will make it to 87 degrees. Monday will be mostly cloudy with scattered showers and storms along with a high temperature of 82 degrees.
