An active weather pattern will set up this week. Today started out with scattered morning showers as a cold front moved through the region. It will stay dry through Tuesday with the next weather system moving in on Wednesday that will make for scattered showers and storms all the way through the weekend. Temperatures will cool down to near or below normal temperatures for the weekend.

Tonight, skies will become mostly clear with some fog forming late in the river valleys. The overnight low temperature will drop to 48 degrees. Tuesday will be partly cloudy and dry under high pressure. The high temperature will make it to a comfortable 73 degrees. Wednesday will see Monday's cold front lift to the north as a warm front for mostly cloudy skies along with scattered showers and storms. The high temperature will make it to 75 degrees. The trailing cold front will move in on Thursday for mostly cloudy skies along with showers and storms that will move in during the night time hours. The high temperature will make it to a warm 84 degrees ahead of the front. Friday will be mostly cloudy with rain showers as the front moves out of the region. The high temperature will drop to a cool 62 degrees with the cooler air moving in behind the front.

The weekend will start out with mostly cloudy skies along with shower and storms as a low pressure system moves in over the region. The high temperature will make it to 65 degrees in the warmer air ahead of the low. Sunday will be mostly cloudy with showers and storms as the cold front moves through the region. The high temperature will make it to 70 degrees before the front moves through.

Monday will be mostly cloudy with showers as low pressure moves in over the region behind the front. The high temperature will drop all the way to 60 degrees with the cool air associated with the low. Tuesday will be partly cloudy and dry as high pressure moves back in over the region. The high temperature will warm a bit to 65 degrees. Wednesday will be partly cloudy and dry under high pressure. The high temperature will warm to 68 degrees. Thursday will be partly cloudy and dry under high pressure. The high temperature will warm to 71 degrees.
