A warm front moving through the region brought a burst of snowflakes along with rain showers that will take us through the night. Saturday will see morning showers that could change back to snow late with lingering snow showers into Sunday morning. Milder temperatures will return as we make our way through next week.
Tonight, skies will be cloudy with rain showers following the warm front. The warmer air behind the front will cause the temperature to rise into the 40s through the evening. The trailing cold front will move into the region on Saturday for morning rain showers along with a high temperature of 52 degrees ahead of the front. The showers will change over to snowflakes in the colder air behind the front at night. Snow showers will last through early Sunday morning with skies becoming mostly cloudy in the afternoon with a high temperature of 46 degrees.
Monday, the calendar start of spring will see partly cloudy skies along with dry conditions under high pressure. The high temperature will make it to a much milder 60 degrees. Tuesday will be mostly cloudy with rain showers as a cold front finds its way into the region. The high temperature will drop to 53 degrees with the additional clouds and showers. Wednesday will be partly cloudy and dry as high pressure moves in behind the front. The cooler air following the front will drop the high temperature to 47 degrees. Thursday will be partly cloudy and dry as a warm front moves through the region. The high temperature will warm back to a seasonable 56 degrees. Friday will be partly cloudy and dry with the high temperature warming all the way to a mild 70 degrees.
The next weekend will start out with mostly cloudy skies along with showers and possibly thunderstorms as the trailing cold front moves into the region on Saturday. The high temperature will drop a bit to 67 degrees. Sunday will be partly cloudy and dry as high pressure moves in behind the front. The high temperature will drop a bit to 62 degrees. Monday will see the front lift back to the north as a warm front for mostly cloudy skies along with rain showers. The high temperature will warm to 65 degrees.
